Don’t just spring clean – spring green! Did you know Americans throw out an average of 70 pounds of clothes each year? Now you can help a child in need and support environmental sustainability. CiTTA Partnership is partnering with Cradles to Crayons to collect new and gently used children’s clothing and shoes, as well as toys and essential items like baby lotion and bed sheets.
These items will go directly to homeless and low-income children in Chicago – right when they need seasonally appropriate items to jump into spring.
CiTTA is collecting new and gently used items at Industrious River North until April 18. Look for our collection box by the front desk or come visit us in Office 15! Cradles to Crayons currently has a special need for:
- Toys for ages 7-12
- Brand new baby wash and lotion
- Brand new twin-size sheets
- Boys’ clothing in sizes 12, 14/16 and 18/20
The CiTTA team can’t wait to deliver these items to Cradles to Crayons’ Giving Factory on April 20. So take a look in those closets, spring green, and help us make a difference to a child in need!
